How are the British international schools in Thailand changing?

What is the culture of British international schools in Thailand? This session offers you the opportunity to reflect and join the discussion on what makes these schools tick. How will the changing landscape of education affect their culture and recruitment in the future? This session would open up with a presentation of findings from my research and then hold a discussion around potential pathways for schools. The purpose is to promote reflection, inspire, and provoke thought.

From Feedback to Feedfoward - approaches to feedback and policy implementation

Approaches to feedback and marking, if not carefully crafted, can often produce unnecessary workload for teachers and result in minimum impact on student progress. The intention of this session is to consider some key research and evidence-based practice on feedback linked to whole class, verbal, and coded approaches to marking and feedback, with the emphasis placed on effective input for maximum output and progress for students. It will consider putting feedforward at the centre of policies to ensure that feedback is both purposeful and progress driven. A reflection on the process of implementation related to feedback policies to ensure sustained success will also be discussed.
